What is it about an accent? when you meet a guy, at least for me, if he has an accent he is automatically bumped up a few points. he could be mean, not very good looking, and stupid, but if he has a British or Australian or Irish accent hes hot in my book. it the weirdest thing. because anything said in a british accent sounds smart, distinguished and just plain beauitful. Australian and irish accents just make the speaker sound cool, like they know what they're talking about and just so many levels above you. but take the same guy and give him a midwestern accent, and he may not look so great. why is that? why is it the sound of a voice can change a person's perspective of another person completely? i dont know, and i dont really care. all i know is i like accents.
the past few days i have been really out of whack. ive gotten like no sleep everynight so when i get home i need to take a nap. and i'm so tired that this nap takes 3 or 4 or 5 hours, instead of the 1 i had planned on. I then wake up refreshed but its only like an hour until i should go to bed. so i get dinner and work on homework. but i dont go to bed until really late because i'm simply not tired. then the cycle starts over again the next day. this schedule is not healthy for me and its really screwing me up. i'm becoming nocturnal and i'm not ok with it. i havent yet gotten into a rhythm for this school year yet and this sleep arrangement is not helping at all. i'm really stressed lately and its not good, especially with college applications looming. lets hope that changes soon!

Discover
Adventures. I may not have any extreme things going on in my life like jumping out of a plane but I have had a few good times in my life.
When I was working up at camp this summer, my friend mary had her birthday. For a fun night we decided to go to this cute mexican restaurant in this cute iron range town called Virginia. After eating we went on the real adventure, although the huge chicken enchiladas were a little hard to stomach. We went to Lake Ore Be Gone, to go cliff jumping.
I had never done this before and I was more than scared. We got there, changed into our swimsuits and looked down from the 30 foot cliff. It was the bluest water I had ever seen outside of the tropics. I hesitated for a few minutes and then decided to go for it. I ran across the cliff and held my nose (didn't want to take any chances) and landed in the beautiful water. On the way down you have time to think about what you just did, the fact you willingly jumped off a cliff. But it is the most exhilirating thing I've ever done. I was so proud of myself and couldn't wait to do it again. So the next time someone asks me if my friends jumped off a cliff, would I? The answer is yes, I would, and I would had a blast doing it.
